Lord warn me when things are sharp,

Guide me in my antipathy,

Keep me aware that there isn’t a harp,

that’s a silly type of fantasy,

Today is the first day of the rest of my life,

Help me be the husband you have for my wife,

Teach me to follow it each and every day
