God’s Power… ——————————– Do you ever feel trapped, Feel like you are being used as an example, God’s power feels like your being zapped, & your problems under foot being trampled —————————————————-

I want to write… —————————————————————————- Sometimes I want to write, Something superficial not deep, Something silly & bright So as not to put you to sleep ——————————————-

The Freedoms… ————————————————————————– To be absolved of my mistakes, I must transfix my belief that as a person I am bad, Communion with the Lord I have a right to take, & the freedom this gives makes me glad ————————————————-

I need God…    —————————————— One thing’s for sure, It is my tendency, That when I’m feeling insecure, I need God totally So I bow my head & ask His assistance Kneeling by my bed I admit my dependence ——————–

Do you think…    ——————————————————————- Do you think yourself average or intelligent, Where does your opinion lay, I’ve never met a man to dumb to get sober, But many too smart for AA —————————-  

Hour by Hour…  ———————————   It might be noteworthy, That to establish a relationship with your Higher Power, You first must humble yourself, Then seek His face hour by hour ——————————————–  

Instigate ———— The enemy will instigate against us, All the wrong things we’ve done, But under the cover of Christ, We will see that our battle is won —————————–

Live in a Dream… ——————————————- Am I an island or a stream, Do I stand or flow, Do I have strong values or do I live in a dream, Only through reflection will I know ———————————————–

Between Good and Evil…  ———————————– You are not unique The ambivalence between good & evil is the same for every man, The struggle over left or right, Is all a part of our daily plan ——————————— 

Stand with me… ————————- Are you a wish friend, Almost my brother, Or will you be with me till the end, Stand with me like no other ——————————————
